Full Stack Web Development

Freelance full stack web development with Laravel, MySQL, React.js and Node.js: business web applications, admin dashboards, REST APIs and VPS deployment, built remotely from Islamabad, Pakistan. I've shipped 20+ projects in 3+ years, from a government-scale Laravel system to a Google Calendar scheduling tool.

A full stack project needs a database, an API, an interface and a server, and I build all four myself. That means Laravel and MySQL on the backend, React.js or Node.js on the front end, and a VPS to run it on, with one developer to talk to from the first call to launch.

I'm a freelance full stack web developer in Islamabad, Pakistan, and people usually hire me for one of three jobs: building a new web application, adding an admin dashboard or API to a system they already have, or fixing a live site that is slow or breaking. Work is remote. You can look at the portfolio, read about my background, or send a brief right away.

What I build

  • Business web applications and admin dashboards in Laravel, with login, roles and permissions, reports, and email or SMS alerts.
  • REST APIs and integrations for mobile apps and outside services. I've worked with Stripe, Twilio, the Google Calendar API and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
  • React.js and MERN applications, from single page apps to dashboards.
  • New modules, upgrades and speed fixes for an existing Laravel or PHP site.

The full list of what I offer is on the services page.

Laravel and MySQL backends

Laravel is my main framework. I write object-oriented PHP with a service layer, build APIs with Laravel Passport, and use Livewire when a screen needs to react without a heavy JavaScript setup. I design the MySQL schema, check Eloquent queries and indexes, and add server-side pagination so big tables stay quick. My tests are written in Pest.

My current job is Laravel backend work at the National IT Board (NITB), on a government-scale system that several departments share. I handle role-based access, push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging and the query tuning that cut our API response times.

I also built the analytics dashboard behind this website. It pulls Google Analytics 4 and Search Console data through their APIs into a Laravel admin panel, with a searchable query table and Excel export. If you need reporting or a Google Analytics API integration in Laravel, I've already done it. For image-heavy apps I use ImageMagick, and I documented the Imagick setup for PHP 8.3 in Laragon after fixing the version mismatches myself.

React.js, Node.js and MERN builds

On the front end I use React.js with Redux Toolkit, Vue.js where a project already runs on it, and Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap for layout. For JavaScript backends I use Node.js and Express.js with JWT login.

The open source MERN stack agile board shows how I put it together. It has drag-and-drop tasks, file uploads, Sequelize on MySQL, and a VPS deployment behind an Apache reverse proxy, with the source on GitHub.

Projects you can look at

Results from client and team work:

  • Makers Asylum LMS: Google Calendar API auto-registration cut registration errors by 80% and onboarding time by 30%.
  • Snipe-IT v6 on a DigitalOcean VPS: server response times fell 35%.
  • Sublime Logics: payment gateway work raised the payment success rate by 15%, and Twilio SMS and email alerts lifted client response rates by 20%.
  • A WordPress and Elementor Pro site: Core Web Vitals fixes cut page load time by 30%.

Deployment on DigitalOcean and Hostinger

A finished app still has to run on a real server. I set up Ubuntu VPS servers on DigitalOcean and Hostinger with SSL, queue workers, Fail2ban and SSH hardening, and I build CI/CD with Bitbucket Pipelines. My steps are in the guide to deploying Laravel on a VPS. If the server is all you need, see server deployment.

Fixing and maintaining existing apps

A lot of people reach me when something already live is breaking. I trace the error, fix it and add tests where they help, so it stays fixed. The maintenance and bug fixing service covers ongoing support after launch.

Technologies I work with

Backend: PHP, Laravel, Livewire, Node.js, Express.js, MySQL, MongoDB, Firebase.

Front end: React.js, Redux Toolkit, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery.

Servers and tools: Linux VPS, DigitalOcean, Docker, Bitbucket Pipelines, Git, Pest, Postman, Stripe, Twilio.

How a project runs

  1. You send a short description of what you need, and we talk it through.
  2. I write a proposal with scope, milestones and a fixed price or hourly estimate.
  3. I build in stages. You get staging access and regular updates, and you review as we go.
  4. I launch it, hand over notes and support it for 30 days.

Common questions about this service

Absolutely — the majority of my freelance clients are in the US, UK, Europe, and Australia. I work fully remotely and am comfortable with async communication across time zones. I'm available on Upwork and for direct contracts.

It depends on scope. A standard CRUD application with auth takes 2–4 weeks. A full SaaS product is typically 8–16 weeks. Bug fixes and maintenance tasks are usually 24–72 hours. I always provide a timeline estimate in the proposal.

Yes. I'm happy to sign NDAs and work on proprietary systems. I treat all client code and business logic as strictly confidential regardless of whether an NDA is in place.

Upwork (for escrow-protected contracts), PayPal, Wise, and bank transfer. For direct clients, I typically take a 50% deposit upfront and 50% on delivery.

Yes — this is something I do regularly. I'm comfortable working in existing codebases, following code standards, joining daily standups, and using your team's tools (Jira, Linear, Slack, GitHub). I fit in, not over.

Laravel suits business apps with many forms, roles and reports, and it ships quickly. MERN suits interface-heavy apps or teams that already write JavaScript. I’ll recommend one after a short call.

Yes. I regularly work in code I didn’t write. I start by reading the code and reproducing the problem, then I fix it and tell you what I changed.
